Today I read 5 people you met in heaven by Mitch Albom I think the title fits the book because he mets people heaven.

This book wouldn't be recommended to young children.

Using python syntax

We have been learning to use Trinket a free online site which allows us to manipulate a type of code called python syntax we have had to use text to create things we can change the colour of objects and also make them as big or as small as we want. We can change their location using the y and x axis.

Eels

This is my slideshow about eels I had to find info about eels then put it on this slideshow.

Our trip with Harold

One day me and my class went to something called Harold. 

Harold is a health education that teaches us about peer presser and how to know how much salt,sugar,fat is in a food product. 

There was a lady in a van called karman she talked about our organs and how we digest food.

we were also given some food items and we had to find out how many sugar,fat,salt there were in them.

we also got to say hello to Harold the giraffe who's the mascot for the health education.

The year eights were able to hug Harold and the others were able to pat him.

Harold was a very fun experience here's a few photo's.

Parts of Marae

This is a slideshow I made about parts of a Wharenui.

Shanty Town

On November the sixth me and my class went to Shanty Town.

My favorite part was when we made huts because our group worked well together to make the hut.                                                                                                                                                           We were also told about the types of Jade/Pounamu and their uses they could be used for tools,weapons,carvings and jewelry.

They also told us the story about kehu and how hes a hero in the second part of the story Thomas Brunner gets a stroke but kehu and his wife carry him and their supply's.

Another cool thing about it is that the drive there and back was very short so we could fit in more fun things to do there.

This is a presentation about what we have been doing we made a poem but with book spines. Your probably wondering what i mean but ill show you my ones.

Graph sports

This is a graph about the most common sport in Te Hiringa the most popular sports are swimming and other. Other can be any sport but not the ones that are on the graph below.The second most popular sport is ki o rahi ki o rahi is game based of a maori story. Then soccer,pakor,shooting and horse riding are tie.  

Harold the giraffe

One day me and my class went to Harold the giraffe. It was really fun we learnt about making choices we saw this clip about this girl called Anna and we saw the choices she made. We also learnt about tricks that are used there is the huddle, the look, rejection, the Example, put down and reasoning. At the last lesson we had to put words onto the cool side and the uncool side. We also did role plays to show us the tricks that are used and how to avoid them.

we did art and we made a tree with a circle and branches in it and we used hot and cold colours on it. The tena also did some art. We made angry birds shapes we learnt about the shapes faces corners lines after the angry birds we made very hard shapes. we also did explanations first we worked in groups  to find out which order the sentence goes in to explain how honey is made.

My creature is a Bat Spider Scorpion Snake you would not like this guy. we made cupcakes as well. well Whrea made them and we decorated them with icing and sprinkles. I put star sprinkles and a smile with the icing.
